Anchor of Hope (AofH) believes the church of The Lord Jesus Christ is one, universal, and undivisible.  The church is composed of all nationalities, languages, ethnicities and race.  It is

comprised of a called out body of those who have accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, being born again in water and spirit, baptized into His body by HIS SPIRIT.  John 3:3-5, Galatians 3:27, 1 Corinthians 12:13.

AofH believes there is only one true GOD who has chosen to manifest Himself to the world in manifold forms throughout the ages.  He has revealed Himself as FATHER in creation of the  universe and birth (Malachi 2:10), as the SON in the redemption of mankind (Titus 2:13-14, Gal. 3:13) as the HOLY GHOST, as comforter, revealer, dwelling presently in born again believers.  (John 14:26/16:13/Galatians 4:6) 

We believe God is creator of all things that exists, visible or invisible.  He is eternal, infinite, in power and Holy in His nature, attributes, and purpose.  He possesses an absolute and indivisible Divinity.  He is infinite in His immensity, inconceivable in His 

Being, and indescribable in His essence.  Since an infinite mind can only be comprehended by itself, no one can comprehend GOD but GOD Himself.  God being spirit, has neither body nor body parts, making Him free from any limitations.

Hear Oh, Israel, The Lord our God is one LORD.  (Deut. 4:35/39/6:4/Mark 12:29, 

1 Cor 8:6/Is 45:5)

AofH believes our Lord Jesus Christ was miraculously born from the womb of the Virgin Mary, conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matt. 1:20).  Jesus being ONE and ONLY true GOD (Rom 5:9/

1 Jn 5:20/Titus 2:13-14/Rev 4:8) is the GOD of the Old Testament who took upon Himself human form, as a man, (Ps 74:12/Is 40:3/Malachi 3:1/Is 42:13/Matt 3:1-3) revealing Himself in the flesh to dwell amongst mankind becoming as we are "And the WORD was made flesh and dwell among us"  Jn 1:14.  

And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness:  GOD was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by Angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory"  (1 Tim 3:16)

We believe that in JESUS CHRIST GOD's divine attributes and human nature were combined in a perfect and incomprehensible perfect form in CHRIST JESUS.

Being called "son of man" because he was born of the virgin Mary in whose womb he took the form of man, acquiring his human nature.

Being called the "Son of GOD" because he was begotten of the HOLY GHOST and thus having divine nature.

Human through Mary and divine through GOD, thus being called both "son of man" and Son of GOD".

Therefore we believe that JESUS is God manifest in the flesh, "for in Him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily" (Col. 2:9)

We believe GOD's attributes are revealed through JESUS CHRIST as Isaiah 9:6 declares:  For unto us a child is born, a son is given and the government Seal be upon his shoulders and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace."

• Worker of wonders:  Ps 145:14/1446:8/Lk 13:11-13, Acts 2:22, Ps 86:10
• Forgiver of sins:  Lk 5:24, 7:48
• Power over nature:  Ps 107:29-30, Mk 4:37-39

We believe in baptism, by immersion, as commanded by JESUS in Matthew 28:19 and fulfilled by HIS disciples in Acts 2:28.  

We believe in JESUS CHRIST's command in Matt 28:19-20, "Go" to all nations and teach, baptize, and observe all things I have commanded you".  He "chose and ordained" (Jn 15:16) those He knew would carry out His mission exactly as was planned from the foundation of the world.  Therefore, on the day of Pentecost, the disciples began His mission, baptizing about 3,000 souls IN JESUS NAME (Acts 2:38-42), staying steadfast in the "doctrine of the apostle's "Immersing and baptising all IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

AofH believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit promised by GOD in the Old Testament, being poured out after the death, burial, resurrection, and glorification of our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST of whom GOD sends.  Joel 2:28; Jn 7:37; Jn 14:16-26; Jn 15:26; Acts 2:1-4; 16-18

We believe in the evidence of the HOLY SPIRIT, demonstrated through "other tongues" as the Spirit gives utterance.  (Acts 2:4).  The evidence of the Spirit is further demonstrated through the fruit of the spirit in the believer's life (Gal 5:22-23)

We believe GOD through His Spirit continues to demonstrate the same power and gifts today as He did in the early church enduing us with power to be victoriousin our struggles against the "wiles of the enemy (Eph 6:11-17).

We believe that GOD has given every believer gifts to minister unto the body of CHRIST

• Diversity of gifts of the spirit
• Differences of administration
• Diversities of operation

We do not believe any person has the power to impart GOD's gifts, but GOD's gifts stand according to HIS parting:  "But all these worketh that one and selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will (1 Cor 12:11)

As born again believers we are baptized into the same body by His body "by one Spirit"

(1 Cor 12:13)

Through GOD's Spirit, we are given grace according to the measure of the gift of CHRIST

(Eph 4:7)

AofH believes GOD is love (1 jn 4:8/16) and through the gospel of JESUS CHRIST (1 Cor 15:1-4)

we are saved and not of our own works. (Eph 2:8-10)
